| Perfect pool weather Stark County residents will want to keep near the pool, lake, or in an air conditioned building going into the weekend. Hot and humid conditions will make for some tropical-like weather around the region. |
Showers and thunderstorms will taper off after midnight Tuesday over Stark County allowing for high pressure to build in over the region for Wednesday. Hot and humid conditions will return for the end of the work week.
Tuesday afternoon and evening will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to Northeast Ohio signaling the passage of a frontal system that will travel south of the region by daybreak on Wednesday. The rain and storms will taper off after 8:00 PM this evening and ending by midnight tonight.
The increased moisture form ongoing rain and thunderstorms has made it feel uncomfortably muggy. Those of us with air conditioning will begin to appreciate it over the next few days and nights as warm, sticky conditions will be with us going into the weekend.
Lows tonight will bottom out in the mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies.
Things will dry out and the sunshine will return for Wednesday due to a high pressure system that will build in over the region. Highs will climb into the upper 80s to near 90. However, increasing humidity will make it feel much warmer and uncomfortably muggy.
Lows Wednesday night will be in the mid 60s under mostly clear skies.
The heat and humidity will be with us once again on Thursday with highs expected to reach the lower 90s.
Our next chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives Thursday night and Friday. Highs Friday and Saturday will continue to be in the upper 80s to 90 over the region with humid, uncomfortable conditions.
