| Perfect swimming weather is forecast for the greater Stark County area for the upcoming holiday weekend. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s for July 4th. |
Fair weather and pleasant temperatures will remain over the region through Friday. Warming trend begins Saturday with highs back to near 90 by Independence Day.
Communities throughout Stark County have been experiencing a break in the summer heat thanks to a northerly flow of cool, arctic air. The current trend of mild temperatures will continue over the region through Friday when the high pressure system dominating our weather for the past week finally moves off to the east. This will set up a southerly air flow over Northeast Ohio and bring much warmer temperatures to the area for the holiday weekend.
Skies will once again remain clear tonight allowing temperatures across the county to once again dip into the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Clear skies and plenty of sunshine are again on tap for Friday. Highs around Stark County will be in the upper 70s.
Friday night temperatures will be just a tad warmer, but still a bit chilly for July in Ohio with lows in the low 50s.
The warm-up begins on Saturday with more abundant sunshine. Highs will top out in the mid 80s, but the dew point temps will be quite low keeping the muggy factor down considerably.
Once again, more sunshine for Independence Day with highs in the upper 80s approaching 90 in some areas of the county. Dew points will also remain in the 50s, so even though it will be quite warm, it will not feel uncomfortably humid.
A few clouds move in for Monday, but skies will be mostly sunny with highs again reaching near 90.
Our next chance of rain will come Wednesday of next week and even then, it’s only a slight chance of precipitation. Highs going into the work week will continue to be warm with highs near 90 on Tuesday and the in the upper 80s on Wednesday.
