| Cooler, dryer air will remain over the region through Tuesday. Temperatures will be in the increase Tuesday evening with hot, humid conditions returning to the area on Wednesday. |
After a pleasant start to the work week, hot, sticky weather conditions will return mid week over Stark County.
Pleasant weather is in place over Stark County thanks to the passage of a cold front over the weekend. The front brought milder temperatures and dryer air for the region breaking an extended period of hot and humid weather.
Tuesday’s weather starts out to be very pleasant with similar conditions. However, temperatures on Tuesday will begint o increase late in the afternoon as warm, moist air from the south pushes northward and begins to invade the region. The warm southern air will also bring an increase in moisture raising the humidity levels and bring back hot sticky weather conditions for Wednesday.
Temps on Wednesday will once again hover around the 90 degree area and become increasingly more humid.
Numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop Wednesday in the late afternoon and early evening as a cold front approaches from the north. There is a potential for some of these storms to become strong to severe Wednesday evening. The strongest storms will develop over Northwest Ohio.
Thunderstorms will continue into Wednesday night into Thursday morning and taper off after daybreak Thursday. The showers and thunderstorms will linger longer in the northeast and gradually decrease as the frontal system passes.
High pressure builds in over the region for Friday bringing back the sun and pleasant weather conditions going into the weekend. Temperatures for Friday will be in the lower 80s.
