| Warm, humid air will move in over Stark County communities from the south for the weekend allowing for summerlike weather conditions. There is a slight chance of a strong to severe thunderstorm to pop up almost anytime but especially for Saturday afternoon and evening. |
Warm, moist air will move in over Stark County bringing summerlike conditions for your weekend weather pushing temperatures to near 90 degrees.
Weekend weather conditions for the weekend over Stark County is shaping up to be an introduction to summer. The high pressure system currently in control of our weather will shift east of the region tonight. This will set up a return of southerly winds and bring warm unstable air back to Northeast Ohio for the weekend.
High temperatures through the weekend will depend on how much cloud cover ends up filtering in through the daytime hours.
The warm and humid conditions also brings along an increased threat of thunderstorms. Scattered thunderstorms will begin to slide in over the area as early as Friday afternoon or evening and will continue to be possible through Sunday.
Some thunderstorms could also become severe with Saturday being the best day for strong to severe storm development.
The warm, moist air from the south will reside over Stark County beginning on Friday allowing highs during the daytime hours in the low 80s under a mix of clouds and sun. There is a slight chance of a thunderstorm popping up any time Friday.
Temperatures and thunderstorm chances increase for Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 80s under cloudy skies. The chance of a thunderstorm Saturday is 50 percent.
Lows Saturday night will be right around 70.
It will be warm again on Sunday with highs mostly in the mid 80s.
Cooler temperatures will move in with a cold front due to arrive over the area early next week. High pressure will bring sunshine and temperatures around 80 degrees for Sunday and Monday.
