Pleasant Weather in Stark to End the Work Week

High pressure from Iowa will travel over our region through Friday bringing sunshine, cooler temperatures and less humid conditions for Stark County communities.
The cold front that kicked up thunderstorms over northeast Ohio has continued moving eastward and out of the region allowing high pressure over Iowa to begin traveling our way. The high will allow for plenty of sunshine around the greater Stark County area through Friday.
Temperatures will also be more bearable going into the weekend along with a marked reduction in the humidity level making it feel much more pleasant for outdoor activities. Look for highs Friday in the low 80s.
Friday night winds shift to the south bringing an increase in temperatures around the region and giving us a chance of some light spotty showers. Temperatures will bottom out in the low 60s, then begin to rise in the early morning hours on Saturday.
A cold front will move in close to Lake Erie on Saturday causing an increase in humidity and temperatures for Saturday. The front will also cause rather unstable conditions over northeast Ohio kicking up some strong thunderstorms for Saturday afternoon and early evening. Highs Saturday will be in the upper 80s with some communities approaching the 90 degree mark.
Sunday’s temperatures will also be on the warm side with highs near 90. The chance of thunderstorms remains through Sunday and Monday.
