Stark County will see some downright chilly temperatures tonight. Record low at CAK could be broken tonight.
If you’ve been waiting for some relief from the hot muggy conditions we’ve been having, you’ll definitely get your wish tonight.
Nighttime temperatures around the greater Stark County area could reach record lows tonight. With clear skies and high pressure dominating our weather, colder air has moved in over the region thanks to that cold front that brought showers and thunderstorms over the weekend. Temperatures tonight are forecast to dip into the 40s in some locations around the county.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Cleveland say that the record low for tonight is in jeopardy. The record low for this date is 46 degrees set in 1899.
Sunshine and cooler temperatures will continue over the area on Wednesday. Highs Wednesday is expected to be around 72 degrees.
Temperatures once again get a bit chilly for Wednesday night, though not as cold as Tuesday night’s temperatures. Lows Wednesday night will be in the upper 50s under mostly clear skies.
Temperatures warm up a bit for Thursday with highs in the mid 70s. Skies will remain clear and sunny.
Going into the holiday weekend, the long range forecast is indicating generally fair weather for the period with highs in the mid 80s and clear skies.
