Fair Weather Thursday; Snow for Friday

Thursday’s weather around Stark County will be surprisingly decent with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 30s.
Stark County received some light snow through the day today, but any leftover precipitation will continue to taper off to just a flurry or two across the area. By this evening, all snow activity should come to a stop and clouds will begin to clear out over the region through the nighttime hours.
Lows tonight will be right around 20 to 25 degrees.
The sun returns to Stark County Thursday thanks to a high pressure system moving into Northeast Ohio. Expect plenty of sunshine through the day Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 30s over most of the county.
Clouds will be on the increase Thursday night in advance of a potent storm system due to affect the region Friday and Saturday. Depending on the exact track of the storm, Stark County could be on the receiving end of some mixed precipitation and a few inches of snow.
Expect snow Friday with highs in the mid 30s under overcast skies.
Snow continues Friday night with lows in the low 20s.
Saturday brings a continuation of the winter storm, but snow showers should begin to taper off by lunch time or shortly thereafter.
High pressure returns for Sunday with fair skies. Cooler temperatures will also arrive Sunday with highs only in the mid 20s. Lows Sunday night will be back in the teens.
